About Me

My photo
Jenna Awad
I am a 22 year old writer and worship singer. Life sometimes feels a lot like what the disciples of Jesus experienced in Mark 4:35-41. It's like I'm at sail during a midnight storm and Jesus is asleep in my boat while I brave (or coward) the fearsome squall. But Jesus promises to calm the storms that threaten us in the darkest night. He's in our boat even if He seems to be asleep. And though pain may endure the night, He promises that joy will come in the morning. One day, I'll be freed from the pain of this wayward world. But in the meantime, I'm sailing till dawn.

What is a sunset creature?

Sometimes I consider myself to be a creature of sunset. Sunset is the most contemplative time of day for me. Once the sun descends, I am most inspired to write, write songs, create, think, and pray. It is the time when the truth behind myself seems to be most apparent.
